[USA] Motorcycle Crashes into Truck On Highway

lol. it think the misunderstanding here is that we are focusing on one thing when in reality multiple things are happening when your turning. yes, if he pushed the right bar and pulled the left more as well as look to the right more he would get more turn. but you cant say if he was leaning more it wouldnt help cause it totally would. I mean when you 'look' you are naturally leaning in that directing. so looking more technically means leaning more. look at his riding position. they must be going 60-80 and his body looks stiff as he runs wide. right leg looks like its squeezing the bike rather then out to the corner. shit just the wind resistance of his right leg out would help influence a lean to the right. does he need to do all that, not really. you dont have to be all rossi to take that turn at that speed so he doesnt even need to move his hips much but no matter which way you cut it, leaning more = turning more. when i lean off the right my weight shifts to the right which also means the right handle bar has more weight pushing it and the left handle bar further away from me has more pull to it, thus stabilizing the turn. they go hand in hand. i dont need to have my knee down for this, just cant be stiff as a rock either. only reason i focused on lean was cause the original comment made it seem like at 60-80 i dont lean but only turn the handle will equal happy ending when it wont. tell me how at speed just turning the handle will work. physics keeps it stiff (which is why you can put COUNTER weight on it during lean). i remember in my licence course one of the major points was to not focus as much on turning with the handle bar (even tho it plays a roll) but to turn with your body. hence looking etc. at 5mph you literally are turning the handle bar, at 50mph are are putting weight on the handle bar. im no pro but ive been riding a 750 since 07 here in miami with a couple years of crazy highway bike nights and half a dozen track days under my belt. ive seen plenty of crashes and even had a 100+mph crash on the track once. i have alot to learn but by no means a rookie and ill tell you from what i can feel when im pushing it hard, my body position makes the biggest difference in every other aspect of my ride- from handle position, peg position, looking angle, throttle etc. but whatever guys, fuck me, im the guy that doesnt know how to ride and spits nonsense. w.e. its just the internet.
