Vegas mornings

I used to be a hotel manager for a strip casino. Craziest story I have was one night at about 2am, I was called to a floor in one of our towers. A guest had ripped the chandelier out of the ceiling, and it appeared as though they cut themselves, badly. Shattered glass was everywhere and there was blood all over the floor, and streams of blood covering the majority of the wall for the length of the hallway (it was like a scene from Dexter). It looked like he had cut his wrist on a slice of glass and was "throwing" blood all over the walls.

We followed the blood to an emergency staircase, but we couldn't find the guest. The blood stopped once we opened the door. The tower this happened in was very old, so no cameras... we couldn't get surveillance involved. Security was unable to locate the guest.

I had to play defense around the downed chandelier. 3 girls came down the hall and all of them were holding their shoes. I told them that they had to put their shoes on to get to their room. They were completely obliterated and argued with me, complaining about how bad their feet hurt. When I told them that they needed to put the shoes on for their safety, they finally listened, and when they turned the corner they started to freak out. They were asking me if someone had been murdered, and if they were safe. I was able to calm the girls down and got them into their room, then another girl came staggering down the hall way.....also wasted.

She had her shoes on, but couldn't find her room. Her speech was heavily slurred, so I had to get her ID to call down to the front desk to get her room number. She puked in the hall before we could get her into her room.

Don't really miss that job too much.
