Waitress quits on the spot when anti-maskers walk in and refuse to comply

You misinterpreted me.

I'm saying that these antimaskers use a bullshit claim to say that private businesses cannot act with their own buildings the same as private citizens would with their own homes.

Public buildings like courthouses cannot turn you away or refuse service if you are a soldier. But my local Amish grocery can.

A county clerk cannot refuse to marry a gay couple, but a regular ordained priest can, based on religion.

Just as one probably could use the law to say they don't have to wear a mask on religious exemption, a private business can refuse service based on...the fact that they own that property and can do as they wish. The civil rights act is overruled by in-place mandates, and even if it wasn't, wearing a mask to stop the spread of germs isnt the same as being flamboyantly gay, or being a Buddhist.
