Thank you for this. I'm really taking that to heart and looking more into all the signs I should see with it. I don't know if it's important to know but he's super grumpy at almost every night and anytime he wakes himself up he just shrieks immediately. But then once we bring him out of the bedroom and start talking to him or playing with him, he's all smiles for at least 30 minutes if not the whole time he's up. And I really try to remind myself of this bring temporary as much as I can. But it's starting to feel like I'm just saying that every single day. And it's like, yeah this will pass but what consequences will this family be feeling forever after this really hard time? Idunno...
