What common item in life would you love to hear the sales story behind?

Lately I keep seeing Amazons fleet of new delivery vans and thinking about the process that won that deal.

Most people don't realize this but Amazon works with many small messenger companies that do the delivery for them. When you get a package from Amazon, most likely you are not seeing an employee of Amazon but someone who works for one of these companies. You could also see an independent contractor who uses their own vehicle. This is probably out of the scope of r/sales but most of these companies are operating on small margins and are there to reduce liability for Amazon...

As far as the vehicles themselves, they were working with Mercedes for Sprinter vans but moved to Ford as the Mercedes vehicles had problems with the starters...
