It’s not a single gesture, pretty much all of them. I don’t think my bf has a romantic bone in his body. He asks what I want for every holiday/bday/anniversary, so I tell him and he gets me exactly that. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, I mean it’s nice of him to get me the things that I want, but I would so much rather him get me something that he thought of and that he thought I would like. All his gifts are fine, but none of them feel very special because I told him exactly what to get me. I’d rather have a $10 bouquet of flowers than a new pair of head phones for our anniversary. I’d rather have a frame of his favorite picture of us than the purse I linked him. AITA?
