[WP] We can communicate with other dimensions and even share news. Over the past few months, other versions of yourself have been dying...

I was standing on the edge of the cliff overlooking the ravine on the edge of my estate, watching the purple clouds drifting gently across the orange sky as dusk began its culmination. How at peace they seemed. Free. Happy, even, despite their constant slavery to the winds, constantly battered by change. The difference between us of course was that they had no wife and children to support, their disappearance or deformation wouldn't cause disruptions in thousands of peoples lives. Oh to be a cloud. A crunching of leaves behind me, brought my absent mind back to reality. Eyes still on the sky, knowing the sentiment of floating freedom was already gone, I said 'Another one?' 'Yes sir. I'm sorry.' Junus my assistant replied. He was alright, I thought. Followed my instructions without question. Loyal, too, but his eyes gave away the sense of drive and ambition in his heart. He wanted huge things, and was smart enough to achieve them someday perhaps. Perhaps he was somehow involved in the deaths. Not in this world I thought. My face betrayed a micro expression of bemusement, perhaps thats what they had all thought too. 'Thats four now. Suicide again?' I asked, still staring at the receding light. He paused. 'No sir.' He paused again. 'Murdered.' I turned my head and looked deeply into his eyes. I saw only compassion there, not the usual steely intelligence. 'How?' 'I am afraid the report was a little ... lacking, in detail sir. Selenium poisoning, same as the others, but this time theres been signs of a struggle. Cracked knuckles, bruising around the eyes and jaw, and so far, there has been no trace of the substance in the digestive system.' 'So,' I replied, thinking about the other cases, as we walked back down towards the building complex. 'implies no ingested orally, as the others. How then, did it get into the bloodstream?' 'Well, sir, its a little delicate. The report said there have been no puncture wounds to the skin that would indicate hypodermic action. But' He stopped again. 'Spit it out. No time for reticence.' I was masquerading my worry with impatience. 'Sir, do you have a ... ahem ... It appears the victim had recently had a melanocytic nevus removed from his ... um...lower right ... uh... gluteus maximus.' His attempts at being discreet amused me, i imagined the officer at the difex bureau probably would have said 'he had a huge mole on his ass.' I indeed knew what Junus was talking about, after much debate with my darling Merana, I'd had mine removed from the very same place just some years previous.
