(WP) A team of astronauts set out on the first exploration mission to the outer solar system. Their target is Saturns moon Titan. Once arrival they witness something extraordinary

"Francis, we gotta slow this thing down right now. We're closing in on terminal velocity." Elroy said, while sweating profusely.

The year was 2031. This was the year where astronomy and astrophysics were blooming. The USS Stargazer rumbled trough the atmosphere of the moon we used to call Titan.

"What are you talking about, dude?" said Francis with a chuckle. "We're fine."

"No, we're about to crash into the surface at full speed. That's not fine." Elroy was nearly yelling.

"Jesus, Elroy, what's your problem?"

"My problem is I don't wanna die because of your unwavering determination to dawdle!"

Francis grabbed ahold of Elroy's shoulders. "We're not gonna die, dude. Calm down." he said sternly.

Elroy yielded and sighed. "How do you know we're not gonna die, then?" he asked in a calm, yet passive agressive tone.

"Trust me on this. Can you do that? Can you trust me just this one time?" Francis replied.

Elroy's eyes started to wander, as he reminisced of past events of doubting Francis, which all ended with terrible consequences. Maybe Francis really was trying to make a point?

His snapped out of his daydreams and sighed at Francis. "Fine. Fine, fine, fine." Elroy strapped himself into his chair again, mentally preparing for what he practically knew would be instant death.

Francis looked over with a smirk. "Ready?"

Elroy gulped. "Ready."

The USS Stargazer descnded toward the surface of the moon, covered in fire, the on-board-computer inside soothingly warning the two astronauts.

"Warning: high concetrations of nitrogen. Utilizing EVA suit is recommended."

Francis grinned at Elroy who looked terrified, holding on to the back of his seat, looking out of the front window.

Elroy looked over at Francis and suddenly, there was an impact. It was almost as if everything was in slow motion. Seeing Francis' body flying forward, still grinning with teeth showing, hitting the front window with a heavy blow. His expression changed to a horrified look of pain as he broke his neck due to the impact.

Elroy slipped in and out of conciousness, trying to battle the smoke leaking into the cabin of the spacecraft.

He was woken up 14 hours later by the on-board computer and by him coughing up what left-over smoke was in his lungs.

"Lieutenant George, rise and shine."

I need to go to sleep, I'll finish this tomorrow.
