AITA for always getting a separate bill at a restaurant?

I very well could be. It seems that way now, I guess. It might just be sort of outdated “good” manners. Maybe the etiquette is dying. I was told by you shouldn’t ever ask for a separate bill. But then again, I was also told you should always pay for the meal with a woman. So it’s probably not really applicable advice either I should be taken to heart all the time, since it is maybe more dated than not. I think if I was having dinner with like a partner’s parents who were in the mid 50’s or 60’s I wouldn’t ever ask that. But I guess actually around a group of people my age, it’s probably something no one would bat an eye at, so maybe I should redact this
