not only that man, i'm from Italy and Italians are REALLY ignorant mostly because our school system is extremely underfunded compared to countries like france or Germany and a general culture that dictates the fact that doing anything that goes beyond the extremely necessary causing a generation of ignorant people who are the one who read the least amount of books in western Europe (barely more than the US) and people who barely know how to use a computer outside things like Netflix or 4Chan

heck you would be sadly surprised by how many people in universities and high schools know how to use basic programs like word or excel something that is unthinkable outside of Italy where knowing how to use them is expected and you would be horribly surprised too by how many teachers/professors actually care about their job with the ones that do actually care being the really small minority.

and i won't even talk about the mentality heavily anchored to the past with prejudices about things like gaming and basic technology and the extremely shitty political system eith which we are lucky to not be left in extreme poverty.

italy has only food,history and art anything else is ruined by the Italian mentality, the industry has transferred to other countries becoming not more made in Italy while still maintaining the title of "made in Italy" just for clout without it actually being made in Italy, the natural and monuments have mostly been ruined by Italian who don't care about cleaning what the trashy turists do alongside Italians themselves who don't fu**ing know what a trashcan is.

i hate fratelli d'Italia since it's a populist right wing political party but this is rome i can only let immagine what happens in the rest of the country especially in the south.

i advise you to search for "Terra dei fuochi" on YouTube: it's mostly in Italian but if you find something in English you would be shocked by the situation there snd actually question if italy can be considered a country of the EU and doesn't deserve to be kicked with dishonor since the smart Italian use that connection only to escape this sh*thole country.
