Bernie Sanders Warns Nominating Biden Could Lead To Trump Winning Second Term: Joe Biden's 'middle ground' approach to politics is a strategy 'that antagonizes no one, that stands up to nobody, and that changes nothing,' according to Sanders.

I totally agree that Trump's policies are toxic. But he's not really affecting our reduction in emissions.

Natural gas is a viable alternative to oil in the near term. It produces much less greenhouse gas than oil and coal, and it's cheaper. I believe it will eventually get priced out by solar, wind, batteries, and nuclear. The whole idea of replacing the use of fossil fuels i'm 10 years doesn't make a whole lot of sense, as much as I want to believe it. Somehow we're going to magically replace all the trucks, trains, planes, cars, and ships with battery power? Not possible. We can reduce the rate of emission in accordance with the Paris Agreement and get let the markets price them out, which they will inevitably do. It's not that I don't like to dream. But, i'm actually shocked at the amazing progress we've made and seeing people, including me, make the choice to buy gas efficient or fully electric vehicles, move within walking distance to work, and stop friggin' traveling all the time. You gotta do your part first.
