Calories vs Carbs when Cutting

I think you're actually having some trouble understanding basic logic and sentence structure. Let's start from the beginning - your first comment:

Well you've heard a bunch of liars

You're saying that the people OP heard from are liars because, presumably, it's impossible to take in as many calories you want and still lose weight. Which we've already just established is actually possible (your comment - "of course it's possible").

Next, /u/OChrome called out that the term 'liars' is a little extreme, because, as we just established, it is actually possible to eat as much as you want on a low carb diet and still lose weight, because the added satiety of the food eaten keeps you full longer and lowers your desire for more calories.

"Liars" is a little extreme haha. Eating large amounts of fats and protein tend to keep you satiated meaning they were able to stay in a deficit while "eating as much as you want".

To which you respond:

The question here wasn't lower calorie intake because of satiety, it clearer said eat as much as you want in calories.

And that's where you got off the sane train, friend. The discussion is absolutely about lower calorie intake because of satiety. On a low carb diet, you're more satiated, lowering your desire for excess calories and increasing the chances that you can "eat as much as you want" while staying under maintenance.

The whole argument stems from the fact that you said people making that claim are "liars" and /u/OChrome said that they're not necessarily liars, because low carb diets really can have the effect of allowing people to eat as much as they want while staying under maintenance calories.
