The CIA Just Declassified the Document That Supposedly Justified the Iraq Invasion

You do know that Mearsheimer endorses a rabid anti-Semite, a holocaust "revisionist", a Hitler apologist, among many other things.

Furthermore, here is a critique of the book you just quoted:

Benny Morris, a professor of Middle East history at Ben-Gurion University, prefaced a very detailed analysis with the remark: "Like many pro-Arab propagandists at work today, Mearsheimer and Walt often cite my own books, sometimes quoting directly from them, in apparent corroboration of their arguments. Yet their work is a travesty of the history that I have studied and written for the past two decades. Their work is riddled with shoddiness and defiled by mendacity."[52]

Former Director of the CIA James Woolsey also wrote a strongly negative review, remarking that "... Reading [Walt and Mearsheimer's] version of events is like entering a completely different world." Woolsey contends the authors "are stunningly deceptive", and feature a "commitment to distorting the historical record is the one consistent feature of this book", proceeding with a few examples.[53] Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said that the paper has not had "any great impact on the general public. The American public continues to support the relations [between the two countries], and resistance to any threat to the survival of Israel."[54]

A quick google search only turns up known "jew conspiracy" sites.

Also, the only evidence for your assertion that AIPAC did some 'extremely intensive lobbying' is the claims of one man named Jim Moran.

Whether AIPAC lobbied for the war in Iraq is disputed. Congressman Jim Moran has stated that AIPAC had been "pushing the [Iraq War] from the beginning".[31] However, according to the Jewish News, AIPAC never supported or lobbied for the war in Iraq.[32] According to a columnist in the Washington Post, "Once it was clear that the Bush administration was determined to go to war [in Iraq], AIPAC cheered from the sidelines ...[21] Some observers suggested the official silence owed to concerns that linking Israel to the war[33]

I'm sure however that you won't do the honest thing and go back and correct your comment like you did earlier.
