I mean everything you say is accurate and true and that's why I make it a point to really give thought out advice. I've browsed relationship advice where many comments are simply "leave them!" which doesn't help anyone. The sunk cost fallacy is a great example. That's why I say if you love the person then it's worth staying, otherwise don't continue just for the sake of doing it. If they don't think they love their partner enough to continue an LDR then it's time to leave. I had a major setback recently in my LDR pushing the closing date back almost a full year. It really broke both of us, but we do love each other so I'm taking a couple extended vacations to kill the waiting time. Anyway, thanks for the convo and sorry it started so hostile. It was just a miscommunication and hope all is well.
