Dem convention chair: Sanders supporters better 'behave themselves' when he loses

Thank you for a civil reply. Who knows what may happen from now until the convention. Sanders has a lot of favorable states in May!

I appreciate your maturity as I would like to post more here. I just happen to have been emotionally connected to Hillary's campaign in 2008 and was devastated when Obama took the nomination so I understand a lot of the frustration and emotions. I've lurked on reddit for a while before joining (both Sanders and Hillary's sub), but this sub had been very negative lately.

I feel like a big West Virginia win and maybe Kentucky along with a huge win in Oregon will boost morale here.

On the other hand, I will be voting for Hillary in the primary and have fought for her and became much more involved than I was in 2008, but if Bernie pulls this off I will also vote for him in a general election.

The calls for Hillary to get out by "the establishment" started in April and she was harassed until June for allowing everybody to have their voices heard. At least Sanders and her have that in common.

I'm glad he is staying in until all states have voted. I think that's pretty fair. I definitely think there's much more in common here than not.

I have yet to actually see Trump's plans on anything besides his rhetoric and I believe he even donated to Hillary in 2008 as well lol. As for money in politics, Trump jumped right in on a SuperPac the day after Cruz dropped out.

Another poster said it was unfair RE the Clinton brand, but does anyone really think that Trump would have gotten the nomination without his brand recognition?

Any other year, Sanders would have easily won. Unfortunately he is going up against a very well known/household political name. Cards were stacked against him from the beginning.

I enjoy having intellectual conversations with anyone about politics even if we don't share positions and hopefully I'll be more welcomed here in the future and not called names or be accused of being paid by Hillary.

I have worked closely with one of Hillary's Campaign Organizer's and argued that I should be on the payroll as well, but.. I'm not lol. We are all fighting for a cause we believe in!

Thanks :-)
