I got a DUI just over a month ago. My situation was a lot like yours. Previous reckless driving charge almost eight years ago. This accident I was driving my mom’s car. There was another vehicle involved. No one was hurt. I barely remember any of it. I feel like such a terrible person. I never would have driven in that state if I hadn’t been too fucked up to know what was going on.

So, being that I got behind the wheel drunk and endangered people and myself. I have not driven or drank since the accident. If I can’t keep people safe doing those things I don’t deserve those things.

This is the longest I haven’t drank in my whole adult life. If I can make it longer, I can make this something positive.
