That's closer to the truth actually. I imagine any other dem in office and they would have gotten the same full-throttled abuse. But because we hadn't seen that kind of hate in action before, coupled with the fact of Obama being our first black president it's easy to jump to that conclusion. Democrats are the enemy of the republican base, make no mistake about it. Black, white, male or female it doesn't matter.
