so ,let's use a tax which is just another money grab that will never actually be used for what is intended,as a political club to punish a country that has basically given a big fuck you to the globalist agenda. That's about what one would expect . To the best of my knowledge,Paris is not yet ratified but several leaders are now fast tracking just to create a stumbling block for the new administration. Carbon taxes were ostensibly designed to fix environmental problems,but are quickly becoming just another source of revenue to fatten gov. coffers ,while the biggest emitters of CO2 (the military industrial complex) are always conveniently absent from any discussion with regards to global warming and/or climate change. And I love how the same clowns are trotted out of obscurity to make a statement as if he/she is still relevant. I could hardly keep my breakfast down when I read one commenter who figures that "they can do what they want" with the money. THAT IS NOT WHAT THEY ARE MEANT FOR. What is most disturbing about that attitude is that it is deemed acceptable to be taxed for a specific purpose even if the taxing authority misappropriates those funds. I have worked in the alternative energy industry and, from my experience,alternative energy gets a lot of lip service,but not enough action while the status quo continues to prosper.
