“They gave me a medal for killing two men, and a discharge for loving one”

Don't you think, just maybe, there's a difference between paying for a medically necessary treatment for a retired military member and actively paying for hormones and grs of active duty personnel? God reddit is so dense sometimes.

Literally this has nothing to do with being anti-trans, I can be completely supportive of trans people and their fight for equality while still recognizing it causes enough issues the military should rightfully ban them.

What does an active duty trans soldier do to get their hormones? They sure as shit aren't going to be dropping estrogen over enemy lines. Literally the exact same reason diabetics aren't allowed in the military.

The military blocks people for all kinds of fucking reasons that only make sense if you take the time to research it, but now people have taken it upon themselves to rally around trans people for no reason other than the fact they are trans even though in this particular case their fight is just wrong.
