I'm grabbing random google articles. Gun homicides and other homicides are a bit difficult to separate, particularly when you have not yet backed up your statement. If you don't like my research, then prove me wrong.

Then, if you do prove me wrong, I'll still bring up that blacks make up 12% of the population and that those statistics are including hispanic as white, which is 17% of the US population.

In my defense, I very clearly stated earlier in the thread that focusing on guns is the wrong place to be focusing on anyways. We need to be focusing on the problems, not the items associated with some of it. Gang on gang violence. Drug related violence. Violent crime. Whether or not a gun is used doesn't help with solving the problem. If you want to eliminate homicides, you focus on homicides. If you want to eliminate suicides. You focus on suicides.
