You have to have boundaries. As the saying goes, nobody can make you feel any way that you don't want to. You can protect yourself by using this. They can be assholes, but you don't have to give them the satisfaction of letting it get to you. This helps if you're sensitive but also feisty. The other thing is to not take any of it personally. It's their shit and it wouldn't matter who you were they'd be doing the same crap to someone else because it's their usual bullshit. Rise above it, let it roll off like water on a ducks back. And try to think of some come backs for when they double down that lets you get an I don't think so bitch in there, but also says you're not going to continue their petty crap because you're above that.
