How would you feel or How would it affect you, if Men were more openly admired by women?

Men are. It’s just not that he everyday joe that is getting the attention. There was an okcupid survey done a few years back which showed that women judge men’s physical attractiveness much more harshly than men judge women’s. Granted, it’s far from a scientific study, but it was interesting.

I think it comes down more toward men and what men tend to want different things from relationships, at least from what see (and I am as far from an expert as one could get). Men tend to be more visual. We tend to want healthy women who appear to have physical traits that would be beneficial toward bearing healthy offspring, and tending to said offspring . These traits are almost always on display (physical features, and to a lesser extent, now nurturing she acts). Larger breasts to provide food for the offspring, wider hips to ensure a more successful pregnancy, fairer skin to show that she is youthful and fertile. Makeup and type of dress takes care of this last bit. Women tend toward wanting someone who will be able to provide resources to her and her offspring. This may not be apparent, so men do things to do they have wealth (buy that fancy car, wear those nice clothes, show some evidence of your high paying job). They do also look for strong looking men who can be protectors, so we hit the gym.

In summary, what women tend to want in men isn’t always out on display, unless we put it out there.
