LPT If you’re a teenager create a nice signature now before you use the same scribbled version of your name for the rest of your life.

I just watched a program on PBS called History Detectives. The Beatles played The Ed Sullivan show at a hotel in Miami in 1964. These brothers asked the hotel concierge to get autographs for them. They asked the people on the show to authenticate them. They explained that they had to compare it to autographs known to be from 1964 because their signatures changed a lot over the years. I don't think it was a conscious decision, I think their signatures just evolved with having done it so much. If the freakin Beatles can change their signatures, so can we.

Also, no one has ever questioned me about my signature. It looks nothing like it did 20 yrs ago. It's evolved because I've evolved. At 21 I was meticulous. At 41 I've got other shit to do.
