MAGA guy vs NYPD officer

It's not letting me reply to anyone, except every like...15 minutes, so I'll just get this one in, then delete the comment, so my inbox isn't flooded with people who didn't read what I said...

I am agreeing with you. The cop was in the wrong here, and the people talking about "shoot first, ask questions later" aren't seeing my point.

She shouldn't be there. She's incapable of handling the situation and frankly, her posture in a position of authority and, frankly her physical condition, means she shouldn't be either.

She wasn't able to deescalate, both sides were exercising their rights, there was zero violence, and all she did was escalate the yelling.

CLEARLY, this guy wasn't fascist, because he obviously wasn't supporting the state (the cop) controlling the individual (his rights to not have to shut the fuck up).

Also, just because people support law and order doesn't mean that they unilaterally agree with all actions by the police.

I PERSONALLY, can't stand "thin blue line" and "backing the blue". But, until we have laws that allow people to actually defend themselves against attackers, ESPECIALLY in a city like New York, the cops are necessary.

We're getting so strung out on differences that we're ignoring that while I hate cops in general, supporting them to do their job without violating their duties and people's rights isn't fascist...

And demanding, from both sides, that people be allowed to defend themselves without having to rely on cops, is just common sense.
