Wifey and I went there on our honeymoon, even ate breakfast at same place as OP (I assume that's the Royal Table, haven't read whole thread) and had 100% more fun than subsequent visits with our kids.
drank our way around the world at Epcot (1 drink minimum at each country + the outpost)
had a room at the Contemporary on the concierge floor overlooking the Magic Kingdom. Daily fireworks outside our window, all you can drink open bar, snacks all day.
had the most romantic dinner in Mexico at Epcot here
had some of the best meals of our lives - California Grill, Fultons Crab House, Flying Fish, Victoria & Alberts, Le Cellier, Artist Point.
rented one of those stupid bike cars and rode all around Yacht & Beach
took a horse drawn carriage ride through port orleans FQ and riverside
I could literally cry just thinking about it.
Side note - heading to Universal for a week with the kids soon and all I can think about is how much we were going to WDW and leaving the kids home. I love them little fuckers to death but spending a week in WDW just the wife and I would be heaven.
