Rainbow Six Siege: All future Maps Will Be Free

Wrong. You have to re-buy weapons if you died. Important distinction.

You got me on that one, I'll admit I was wrong when saying "every round". I'm not sure why I didn't notice that one, since I am aware of this.

If you died it means you screwed something up and you have to rethink your tactic. It's also a 2-way street. Killing your opponent might mean he won't get a cool gun next round. That single distinction adds depth.

You died because you screwed something up? Sure, just like every other shooter I guess? I didn't respond fast enough, didn't notice the person behind me, etc. those are the reasons you die in any shooter game. This happens to everyone. It's not a failed tactic, and you're going to keep doing the same "Let's go A" or "Let's go B" routes over and over with mixed results. Nobody rethinks any tactics, they try to shoot better I guess, though that's something everyone strives for anyways.

You can try and say that the professionals do use tactics, but I'll say that in a matchmaking public or competitive game I have never seen anyone use any tactics beyond the very basic.

I also think it's laughable that the scenario you listed is supposed to be an example of depth.

Also wrong. There are plenty of pro players who buy using the wheel. It's easy to use, it's fast and doesn't require keybinds.

First of all, we're not talking about GO exclusively. The wheel is fine, but still undesirably slow and tedious to do after every death. All I know is I've noticed most decent players obviously use keybinds since they buy everything within the first two seconds of spawning.

The wheel and buy menu sucks, in my opinion. My opinion, which is the whole point of everything I've been saying.

Then you've thrown around some criticisms that have nothing to do with the game other than your desire to be a different game.

No shit, did you miss the entire reason why I posted those criticisms? The point is that the same way you could criticize an unlocking system, I could do the same with a buy menu system. It's subjective, just like the opinions of the person I was responding to. I was merely responding the same way they did.

Basically, your arguments boil down to "I want access to all guns at all times" which is definitely a legitimate point. However, it's a subjective argument.

Bingo! It's subjective, just like the arguments of person I was responding to. Though you chose to single me out and ignore them doing the exact same thing.

The only thing I have a problem with is that games like Battlefield and CoD force you to go through dozens of hours before unlocking everything or, in the case of Battlefield, ask you for money for shortcuts.

Why is it "forcing" when it's those games but when it's Counter Strike it's not? If I said that Counter Strike forces me to be restricted to certain guns based on how much in-game money I have or what team I'm on, then you would object (in fact, you have).

I don't get why you get so up in arms about subjective opinions on this issue and then say stuff like this. It sounds very hypocritical. When you dislike certain game mechanics, it's fine, but if I dislike different game mechanics then I'm forming poor and unfounded criticisms? How do you not see the problem with this?
