Billions of people are alive today because of the weath generated by capitalism. The only major flaw capitalism has is climate change and even that's easy enough to fix. It's just a question of how much money we're willing to spend and over how long of a period we're willing to spread that payment out over.

I can almost guarantee it's not as bad as you imagine. That's doesn't mean capitalism is perfect, it's far from that, but it does mean the myth that capitalism has left the world worst off is objectively wrong.
