No, not all business owners are rich. My wife runs two sole proprietorships and is looking at a third. We’re not rich. We sure as hell don’t need a tax cut though, and could definitely handle an increase in taxes. We both support higher taxes as well because we know how hard it was to go from poor to where we are right now and how ineffective Alberta’s support systems are due to years of PC underfunding so that they could give out tax cuts to businesses and the wealthy. We got lucky, most don’t.

And the growth being seen in the US right now is a continuation of growth that began under Obama. Trump has nothing to do with it and there has been an overwhelming amount of coverage about how his administration’s economic actions will hurry the next recession, if not directly lead to it.
