Weekly /r/Games Discussion - What have you been playing, and what are your thoughts? - January 10, 2021

The coolest thing about ZTD for me is (MAJOR spoilers) how on two of the major routes, everything is deterministic, but on the route where Zero dies at the beginning, games that claim to be games of chance are actually games of chance and you can lose to a bad die roll because Zero isn't around anymore to rig it. This happened to me with the Monty Hall oxygen mask game. I made the statistically correct choice and happened to have hit the 1/20 chance that there was a goat behind the door he didn't open. I have some quibbles with the plot, but ZTD was overall my favorite of the trilogy.

I also liked the ending of Dangan Ronpa V3, so most people should probably take my opinion with a grain of salt.
