What jobs do you think deserve more respect than they get?

A few reasons, but the last straw was I could never get home in time for my kid. In the end after a period where my body felt so broken and my mind was so stressed, I realised I wanted to be present for my kid more than I wanted to kill myself at work, vocation or nay. My mother is almost wheelchair bound after nursing all her life, which keeps hitting home. After covid especially, I figured I'd served my time. I went looking for a job that I could do around my family, and that it wouldn't be life or death if I had to juggle my schedule around. The money was less but for me at this time it was just enough. I've signed up to go do a master's in an unrelated subject now, hence leaving cleaning, but it was the break and the healing I needed in that time.
