I know this post is a few days old, but I've been trying to look up more about PPC and what the hell they even are and wanted to see opinions on this subreddit. I don't know how old you are, but I'm almost 33 and have always been super left wing (although with a realistic view on economics in a country as large and diverse as Canada).

I've noticed that a TON of people I used to go to festivals with, talk about socialism with, etc. like artist "hippy" types who seemed to be about freedom, pro-lgbtq+, feminism, and all of that have now turned out to be extremely fucked misogynistic, racist (somehow even the POC?), transphobic, anti-science weirdos who post shit that 22 year old me would be surprised at. Like, people who sold drugs and still do and throw raves will at the same time say people who are drug addicts should just die.

Luckily, I caught on to the misogynistic, privileged, narcissistic views (yo, I'm a lightworker starseed who is woke and you are all sheep!!) a long time ago after watching the way they all ignore abusive behaviour of their friends and happily hang around racist nazi transphobes if it means they get to be part of the "in" crowd.

So yeah, that was a super long rant from someone who is not surprised but still disappointed by the former "left" who now call out the left as "nazis" and don't care what the PPC stand for as long as they can have their "freedoms" while they ram drugs in their face every weekend.
