The Year of EU

Its different with this team and SKT series from MSI showed how they function under pressure. Usually teams are so down when it goes to game 5 or when you are down in series 1 game from losing. They where so focused and most importantly they trusted each other. That series was proof to me this team can achieve something. You need to have balls to put faith in your teammates to pick top pyke and syndra adc in deciding game of the series. From the video they published from SKT series they where losing 2-1 and still no-one looked down, they where all discussing what to do and it was really nice to see when Perkz said pick me syndra and no-one even hesitated.

I think rarest things in esports and usually when it comes to the teams is to get that level of trust in people with who you play and work. Whole story around this lineup from start was incredible. From 4 top tier EU players believing that Perkz can make that swap work, committing to multi year contract and Carlos and G2 believing in them and taking that gamble was incredible. Career in esports are so short, imagine if it didn’t work how that would affect mostly Perkz career and how much loses G2 would have with signing that 5 big contracts. This was bold move by everyone and it worked and I believe this team is so good partly because of that initial trust from they had in each other. Many teams they say yea I believe in my teammates but when trust is needed to be shown they second guess. What I like about this squad is they are committed, if we int we int together, if someone go in they all go in without second guessing.

This kind of teams are really rare to happen of course one they they split but everything has to end at some point. In league I think closes to this was old C9 roster.
