advice for missionairies coming over soon!

Update: Well they came by.. Think its a win in my book but they are coming back Saturday.. so more to come...

Started off with the little 15 page book about mormons, with the atonement and the first vision, etc..so there i was just sitting back like normal and nodding every so often to questions or comments..

Then came the first vision part of the booklet, They asked how i feel about it.. and i told them i think its complete lies, that how can someone who saw such a great vision not have the same story on four different occasions. Or how he never mentioned it till 10-15 years later in his journal.

This seemed to bother them, make them puzzled and then ask where i was getting my information from.. So I stated from his personal journal that someone had posted information on awhile back on here. And the LDS website which states the four different visions. Puzzled they wrote it down and asked if i could pray about it and see what happens.. Typical response i knew i would get...

Then we got on the topic of The Book of Mormon and one of them mentioned the archeological proofs of the book.. and i stopped them and said what proofs, according to the Mormon Research Group no one has proved anything about The Book of Mormons.. and they got quiet and puzzled and he did mention something about the pyramids and but then quickly dismissed it..

All in all they wrote down a lot and said they needed to research it more and see me again.. My wife did set another meeting so for her i would love to hear their answers and maybe have more to shoot there way...

On a side note i asked about Polygamy with Joseph Smith and their response was it was necessary in those times because women didn't have rights and they needed to be with men to have property or some BS... I totally knew they were lost there...

I feel bad for the kids but i made it clear, i dont believe in it, and i never intend to. If they want to keep trying then by all means knock yourself out.
