So because there is no guarantee that it's used in good faith, people just automatically assume white people always use it negatively? I'm not saying white people should be calling black people the n-word all the time, but it would be great if we could not ruin people's careers or lives just because they said a word and it's uncertain if it's negative or not so it's just assumed it is. I do use the n-word quite often, because that word has little negative charge in my country. The benefit to me is that i can speak to a black person the same way as i do to anyone else without having to avoid certain things, and make fun pf them the way i do with anybody. making it much easier to bond and understand eachother. Also it's fun to say, and especially to call an inanimate object that when it frustrates you.
