I would say it is less split in terms of politics in certain regions and whether masks are mandatory or not. For instance an essential worker noted in the region of Raleigh NC (where masks are mandatory) that:

Those who wear the masks the most: White Women (about 99% of white women who enter wore masks).

Followed by white men and black women: about 95% (also college aged white men were the least likely out of white men).

Only about 60% of black men wore masks. Even if they came in as a couple, often times the woman would be wearing the mask but not the man.

It was a noticeable difference. Others (Asians, Hispanics, etc) were not entering the store enough to really get a percent of those who do/do not wear masks. Also about 30% of overall customers were black/70% white and around 50/50 male female ratio.

I am sure in other regions this statistic would be different. For instance in a very conservative area it may be differently split, especially in an area with no mask mandates.
