LPT: If a religion tells you what to think, it's not spirituality, it's indoctrination.

Beyond popular belief, Roman Catholicism doesn't require you to follow every single teaching. They just want you to be nice people and live morally good lives and then you can get to heaven.

Fun fact, according to Catholic Teachings, and I think this is in the bible as well (don't ask what version because i'm not sure), you don't even need to be Catholic in order for you to get into heaven. (this is all assuming that heaven exists) hell, you don't really need to believe in God to get to heaven. You only need to live a morally good life and be a nice human being.

However don't take this like "oh I must be super nice to everyone and can't be mean at all or do morally wrong things that's dumb" because that's not how it is. There are three forms of being a good person, well there are two that I know of and then there is the middle ground that might have a name but i'm not sure. Being scrupulous and being lax. Scrupulous is like what I described above where you overly criticize everything that you do and you attempt to do everything perfectly and morally good. Lax is the opposite where you don't care at all and you don't make an effect to judge what you do. People make mistakes, no one is perfect and so no one can live a completely morally good life. As long as you strive to do good you'll be fine. You don't need to be perfect, so don't worry about that one time you cheated on a test or that other time when you accidentally killed an entire population of birds on an island.

Sorry this got kinda long I realize and i'm sorry if this offends anyone.
