Really mad at my husband (41) for saying to me, unsolicited, that he isn’t attracted to new, busty, 24-y-o receptionist and telling me that she “isn’t better looking” than me (39).

But it’s not even about the white lie itself. I wouldn’t care if he lied to me about something believable to save my feelings, I’d actually be really humbled that he would do that to protect me. It’s the unbelievableness of the lie. It’s INSULTING. The fact he thought there was a chance I’d believe it makes me think he believes me to be MUCH less intelligent than I thought.

And like I said, whether he finds her attractive is not up for debate. He does. She is young and beautiful and he is a normal man who likes beautiful young women - there’s nothing niche or fetish about him that would make him prefer me over her. That part is not up for debate.
