Restaurant worker about to start his shift. Entertain me

Alright. I have a good feeling about this one. My assessment here:

You're a "recovering" methamphetamine user, but in reality you're still using it regularly...but your support persons who you've drained financially and are still currently living with are oblivious to this whole fact...because you've managed to manipulate them for so long, they've given up on the skepticism and just accepted that "you might actually be clean". In and out of jail since you finished (not graduated) high school for smaller drug charges. You don't have a driver's license because of the felonies, so you're frequently seen on the bus or riding a bike in abnormally hot biking-weather . You would consider it "settling" for IHOP, had you been in control of any portion of your life...but it's not settling, this is a job you were gifted with and you hold sacred the opportunity to work...and make your deals while working. You also have developed a better way to deceive other family members into thinking that you're recovering and succeeding by using your entry-level job as your leverage....when in reality, they all know that deep down you're just as shitty as before, and they're embarrassed of you.

At some point in your life, you'll make a decision to recover...and you still won't go all the way with it, because you're an addict, and you will never be in control of your life until you die
