Yeah exactly. That was a good point you made. A SAHP actually doing the job properly and we'll and putting the effort in is not the same as just sitting watching tv shouting at the kids once and a while to stop being so rowdy. A lot of people do see it as just that. When I stayed home, there was tons of scheduling to be done, I had to seek out activities, play dates, workshops, plan, DIY, work on fine motor skills, gross motor skills, communication using researched methods to help improve them, creating meal plans and budgeting every dollar. Baby proofing is an ongoing mission as well.... I've felt more like a working professional as a mom than I had thus far doing anything else
