It’s ironic because I had the same thought today too. We don’t have kids, but three dogs. Look back and we were not really compatible either. I think there might be things you may have left out of the article that are probably private lol. For me, I was a smaller size and new I would sometimes gain a lot of weight…. I also new my “pretty boy” husband was used to dating girls who only obsessed about their looks and much smaller. I knew he would want a smaller wife. My weight fluctuations have been the literal butt of his actual bullying. We have a sexless marriage as I can’t find the want to do anything for him as much as he has regularly and cyclically had a fit over my appearance. He also made asked me to promise not to believe in divorce, but as soon as I gained weight before and after the wedding he would scream asking for one. Even now after my bariatric surgery, he still says horrible things and I think…I should just send in the papers.
