Unpopular Gaming Opinions?

This is going to get me a lot of hate:

  • The enemy designs in Halo are "grab the next crayon in the box" lame and the art direction is generic
  • Half-Life 2 feels like one long winding hallway and doesn't hold up well at all, which makes the long running "half life 3" jokes painfully unfunny
  • Half_life 3 will never live up to expectations, and it's going to be the greatest meltdown the internet has ever seen
  • Screen tearing and FPS are bitched about at way too high a frequency for their actual impact on the gaming experience
  • The sex scenes in Witcher 2 are not maturely handled, but rather high on the cringe factor
  • The art direction in DmC is better than Devil May Cry ever was
  • Smash Brothers is only successful because of its license, the core gameplay is rote
  • The upcoming Zelda game looks like a 13 year old kid's "my first open world game" science project
  • Using the acronym SJW or pushing "gamergate" outs you as a self-absorbed douchebag who lacks critical thinking skills and ironically makes you the very thing you purport to hate
  • Patrick Klepek was the best personality on Giant Bomb
  • The iPad is a video game console, and a damned good one at that
  • Speaking of which, FTL, Shadowrun, and X-Com all play better on a tablet
  • Buying games because they are cheap and then laughing how you wasted your money on games you'll never play doesn't make you cool, it makes you a sucker, and the Gabe Newel worship is a low-point for the community considering how much Steam sales work as a skinner box
  • Diablo 3 RoS is more fun than Diablo 2
  • Not counting remasters, all of the current console exclusives are pretty flawed franchises
  • /r/pcmasterrace forgot it was supposed to be a joke
  • The most clever gameplay mechanics from 2014 were on a touchscreen (Threes, Hitman Go, Framed)
  • Sony's headset is going to do better than the Oculus Rift
  • Destiny players are kidding themselves
  • Enthusiast gamers have zero grasp of the idea that other gamers have preferences that are different than their own, and that it's ok to not like something without having to say it "sucks"
  • Along the same lines, enthusiast gamers are the worst part of being in the games industry
  • TotalBiscuit and his similar crop of hateful, cynical, "trash games from first time devs for cheap laughs" youtube channel personalities are cyber-bullying pieces of shit and a black eye for the hobby as a whole
  • Bonus: The Wachowskis haven't made a better than average film since the first Matrix

I am sure I can list more, but this is probably going to get me enough shit...
