I walked in on my brother

Few notes on this, actually.

"So what?", you ask? I saw my brother having sex!!!! Wow!!!!!!!! I am 15!!!!!!!!! Regardless of the circumstances, that is something that not I and not anyone else that lives in our house needs to see.

Yes, sex happens. Shockingly, this is not a foreign concept! But I am still putting the irresponsibility on my brother. My parents are not strict and we function on a don't-ask-don't-tell basis. It's never been rigid and from a young age they have educated us properly about sex. It's natural, be safe, do it somewhere we don't know about and don't tell us.

And, keeping it real, there is no shortage of rooms with doors in my basement. They very easily could have walked 5 feet to the left and gone into the guest bedroom instead.

Even with that there still isn't a way to look at this for me without placing the blame on my brother. And it's not like I'm accusing him of a crime, I'm just saying that he's being dumb and needs to step up his game because he's very smart and knows better than to do that. ESPECIALLY when the aforementioned relatives arrived VERY soon after he got home. Not to mention there are two very young children.

All in all: I think I will care, actually! My brother did a stupid thing and I'm not saying that it's illegal or that I'm going to hate him forever. I care about my brother, but it is going to be awkward for me this weekend and this is going to be an uncomfortable memory.

PS im gay and also a child so he won't have to worry about me doing stupid and risky things with a guy in less than safe circumstances
