Droperidol

I had it once and it was really bad, to be honest. I had nausea, severe vertigo, and my right ear was ringing so I went into the ER to get a head CT but in the process, one of the nurses gave me IV Droperidol without telling me. Which I really wish the nurse would’ve told me because I have a prominent history of heart disease in my family. Within 2 minutes of the injection, I went extremely tachy and my vision went white. I was given antivan, benedryl, and magnesium and it stayed around 180, even when I slept. I stayed in the hospital for 3 days on observation and was released when I was finally under 120 when I was laying down. However, since then, I still get tachy when I stand up and can’t walk more than a few steps without having to sit down.
