I hope this kid keeps that pin for the rest of his life!

I was all in for Bernie. I still am.

However I'd like to point out my change in heart toward Biden in the past months.

Maybe it was because of how much worse Trump got, Bernie's leadership to get progressives behind the DNC, or maybe just Joe's outright decency as a human.

I've never been a big fan of his policies but I always respected him. I did though feel a big surge of "he's running because of the my friend is black" (Obama) thing. I was upset he entered the race.

When it became clear he'd be the nominee I was infuriated how everyone lined up behind him and threw Bernie under the bus.

That said, I found myself softening on Biden.

The truth of it is that political campaigns take advantage of all of us in some capacity. We are all pawns in the game somehow. Sometimes it's for a shit stain like Trump and sometimes it's for someone ahead of their time like Bernie or Yang. Other times it's for the right person at the right time, for the times. I believe Biden is that person and history will now show it to be so. I'm glad.

Bernie would have also won. I'm glad Biden did.

Now, let's continue the work.
