I always try and take the lead when my partner obviously can't. I'm gentle and patient, so I'd take it slow and easy. It sounds like I've had sex, and this is still what I'd say and do in the same circumstances if related to sex, but no—I was describing how I'd do in presentations/interactions/anything with a partner. I'd get ahead of someone nervous and assure them it'll be alright, and persuade them to feel less nervous if not confident. And I'd be the same if this happens in bed.
