A work relationship and personal relationship are the same in many facets. One has a lot more sex in it hopefully but that is a different story time. If it can work in a work relationship then it should then work in a personal relationship but that is also another conversation.

I read the post you link and while I can empathize with the dude, I do not find it shocking at all. Bothersome? I dont know about bothersome. I would speculate that our life experiences are much different. I have watched my step dad beat up my mom a lot when I was little. I have walked out of my room to see my mom and stepdad held captive with shotguns pointed at them (Prolly the only reason they lived). I have watched my stepdad kill himself in our house. I have watched fights more times than I can remember. I have been in lots of fights when I was younger and gotten the crap beaten out of me. I used to have kids come from different high school just to try and beat me up. I have served in the military. I have stood by and helped my grandparents both expire (Spiritual help) I have seen and done more than most people have in their lives. I do not say this to be a braggart but it makes me less sensitive to things than people that have seen less.

Could this guy end up gunning down all kinda people? Sure, but that is true of the person who types out the happy stuff as well. With the intranets you just dont know. There is no way to read body language or tone or the 20 pantomimes. The part where we connect on the venn diagram is that this guy needs help. And the first thing I would help him with is to stand on his own. Most of these people will only get better with time, therapy and understanding.

Another point I would agree with you is that most people who go to TRP are not leader Alpha's. Some of the guys are but most are dudes who are lost and need some direction. The guy you linked, while in need of help, is no where near the bottom of the iceberg as far as evil and vile stuff that someone could type. The dude just sounds like he is lonely, nerdy and in need of companionship. I would start with a pet and if he kills the pet then hes Dexter and should be locked the fuck up. But to say he is Dexter just because he says he does not like women because hes not good with them is a little over board.
