Twitter Melts Down Over "Treason" After Trump Praises Putin

I think humans are just really good at reasoning to ourselves. I.e we can still have the benefits of cheating without feeling bad about doing so. You can cheat just a little bit such as take home office supplies from work, or copy work off of someone and still consider yourself a fairly honest indvidual. We all do it some extent.

I think trump would be an outlier in this regard because he has no remorse for any of his actions. It reminds me about that interview when they ask trump about sacrifice. He doesn't seem to have any understanding of the concept of giving something up without expecting something in return.

I think it also comes to reason when someone can reason to themselves for voting for trump. I think people want to find any reason to believe their position is the correct one even when they might not benefit from that decision in the long run. I think this also includes finding anything in trumps speeches that supports their current world view. I'm just not sure what it will take before people start to really question the presidents decisions.
